Dan Pasko was born May 17, 1982 in Odessa. He has 12 years of experience in optimizing business
processes, investments and serial entrepreneurship.
He takes an active civic position, cooperates with the business communities, international organizations and industry associations in order to create a technocratic government in Ukraine. He visited more than 50 countries and is fond of kitesurfing.
From 2001 to 2004 he worked as a lawyer at Odessa Oil Extraction Plant.
In 2004 he graduated from the Odessa National Law Academy and holds a master’s degree in “Law”.
From 2004 to 2005 – he was the founding director of Prodis Films.
From 2005 to 2008 – was the founding director of Film Focus.
In 2007 he graduated from Kyiv National Economic University and has a master’s degree in “Financial Management”.
In 2009 he took place in the summer internship McKinsey & Company
and Horizon Capital companies. In 2010 he graduated from Harvard Business School (HBS) in Boston, Massachusetts and received a master’s degree in “Business Administration”.
From 2010 to 2014 – he was Investment Director, and Principal of Horizon Capital company in Kiev.
Since 2011 – Dan is the president of the Harvard Club of Ukraine in Kiev.
Since 2012 – Active Angel Investor, invests in such companies as: Preply.com, Kwambio.com,
Kazantiper.net, МОЁ.
From 2014 to 2016 – Dan served as a member of the National Reform Council in Kiev.
Since 2014 – Dan is the leader of the initiative, the member of the Board of Directors of Professional Government Initiative, which brings together graduates of foreign universities to help the Ukrainian government.
Since 2014 – co-founder and managing director of Think Tank Easy Business in Kiev. They developed and adopted by the Government the strategy of deregulation, for realization of which: developed 30 projects of regulatory-legal acts, 10 of them were adopted by the Parliament. As the result of the implementation of liberal economic reforms, Ukraine rose in two years from 112 to 83 place in the Doing Business ranking.
From 2015 – Dan Pasko is a Chairman of the Supervisory Board in Nova Poshta. He organized the process of search and selection of new CEO and CFO and launched the strategic planning process.
