We had a productive day full of stories about innovations, export strategies and new horizons for Ukrainian agriculture.
Our flagship annual Agribusiness Forum in Kyiv each Autumn has firmly established itself as a key date in the Ukrainian agribusiness calendar with such influential partners as the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, Credit Agricole, the Verkhovna Rada Agrarian Committee, IFC, Evris Law Firm, EBRD, US-Ukraine Business Council and the Ukrainian Grain Association.
In order to triple the production of agricultural products and reach $80 billion, Ukraine needs investments in the amount of $70 billion – the president of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation Leonid Kozachenko, said. "Today, Ukraine's gross domestic product, if compared with the European Union, has a small percentage. In the EU, this figure reaches 360 billion, and in Ukraine - 25 billion. However, if we look ahead and Ukraine has received at least $70 billion in investments, then we could triple the production of agricultural products.
The efficient and productive 1-day format managed to cover the widest spectre of topics, including financing and investment, innovations & agtech, new export markets, agriholdings’ corporate strategies and logistics and infrastructure.
