The 3rd Ukrainian Banking Day took place at the Hogan Lovells law offices in London on 9th May with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK and the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine.
Over 150 senior executives from leading financial institutions in 14 countries joined the event with eager anticipation, having waited 5 years since the previous event due to the full-scale invasion and COVID.
They heard from a stellar speaker panel headed up by Kateryna Rozhkova, 1st Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, and featuring CEOs and Board Members of Ukraine’s top banks including: PrivatBank, Oschadbank, Sense Bank, Citi, FUIB, Piraeus Bank, OTP Bank, ProCredit Bank, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group and Universal Bank as well as key strategic partners including the IFC and EBRD.
Participants were able to discuss in-depth such important issues as strategies for the state-owned banks, NPLs, digital banking and fintech, banks and the recovery and reconstruction effort, operational excellence during the war, M&A and much more.
We are grateful to Hogan Lovells for their generous hospitality in hosting the event and to their fellow Sponsors – Piraeus Bank and SaaScada.
